The open floor plan of Casa la Paloma’s main floor is perfect for groups to enjoy a meal in the well-appointed kitchen while chatting with those relaxing in the living room. Or, open the French doors to the back patio and enjoy a glass of wine surrounded by flowers. Exciting News: Swimming Pool and Pool House Coming in 2025! We’re thrilled to announce the addition of a beautiful new swimming pool and pool cabana, set to be completed in October of 2025! To make way for construction, a portion of the backyard will be screened off from April 2025 through October, 2025. We plan to make the hot tub accessible during construction. Please see the additional photo of the patio that shows how the patio looks during construction with the screening fence and hot tub visible. During this period, we are prioritizing guest satisfaction by ensuring no construction work occurs during your stay. We will be limiting rentals to Thursday through Sunday, and nightly rates have been significantly discounted to account for our reduced availability. We’re committed to preserving a serene and enjoyable experience for all our guests. The outdoor patio and dining area will remain fully accessible, so you can relax and savor the backyard space throughout the entire construction phase.
Other Details to Note
The City of Sonoma charges a 15% tourism tax (15% of the per night cost, not including cleaning or fees). This amount will be charged at the end of your stay or deducted from your deposit. Casa la Paloma is just off the historic Sonoma square. Guests can stroll down the block to the Maya for a world class margarita, walk around the corner to the Ledson Hotel wine tasting room, or walk across the street for authentic Tuscan cuisine in a lovely setting at Della Santina Restaurant (also visit their wine store next door at Enoteca Della Santina). We also suggest renting bicycles to ride to nearby wineries including Buena Vista Winery, Roche Winery Tasting Room (great patio!), and Sebastiani. Or, if you want a little more exercise, venture out to Gundlach Bundschu Winery, a local favorite!
